In Dulce Jubilo: Music for Advent and Christmas

Join members of the period instrument choir and orchestra, Leeds Baroque, for the special free seasonal performance of Music for Advent and Christmas by the noted early 17th century composer Michael Preatorius (1571- 1621).
The programme, which will include some familiar favourites and some lesser known repertoire, will be introduced by Musical Director Peter Holman MBE in a short talk outlining the life and music of Praetorius and his contribution to music for a Lutheran Christmas, music that is still being performed today.
The concert will be followed by seasonal refreshments and an opportunity to donate to our Christmas Campaign.
