New Year's Eve Ceilidh With Cat's Claw Ceilidh Band

We are looking forward to welcoming back the excellent Cat's Claw ceilidh band to Catbrook to help us see in the New Year in fine style! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, a ceilidh is fun from start to finish - no experience required, just a willingness to join in and enjoy yourself!
Cat's Claw are masters of bringing people together on the dance floor. Their lively performances guarantee smiles all around and dancing that spans generations. We will have two or more energetic sessions with a refreshing break in between and the bar will be open of course!
At the heart of the action is the band's enthusiastic caller who walks everyone through the dances before the music begins, making sure no one's left behind- this ensures that every dance is full of joy and easy to follow. Dancing will start at 9.30pm but the Hall and bar will open at 8.30pm. This is to give everyone time to eat first though you are welcome to bring snacks with you. Dress code is comfortable (you could maybe go Scottish, Irish, Country, Western, posh frock or jeans) but don't forget your best/comfortable dancing shoes!Please note that numbers are limited (last year's ceilidh was a bit jam packed so we will restrict numbers to a lower level this time to allow more space for socialising and dancing). In addition, we need to confirm we have sold enough tickets by November 1st to avoid cancellation, so please don't delay buying your tickets.Doors open 8.30pm, dancing starts 9.30pm, evening ends 12.15am on 1st January!
Bar selling beer, wine, soft drinks, crisps and ice cream. Cash and card accepted.This event is possible thanks to assistance from the Arts Council of Wales Night Out Scheme.All profits go towards the running of the Hall.
