The Harogate Dramatic Society presents The Tempest by William ShakespeareIn this reimagined story of The Tempest, a storm throws a group of travelers onto an island where an exiled ruler commands not magic, but machines.
His spirits, summoned and dismissed like processes, watch over the island and everything that happens on it.Shakespeare’s oldest questions about control, servitude and freedom, return for an age where power comes from infrastructure, not incantation.
