Latency

LATENCY is a fast-paced psychological techno-thriller that follows Joe, a lonely live streamer and hacker whose online crusade against scammers leads him into a dangerous relationship with Kiber, an anonymous digital mastermind.

Drawn in by friendship, purpose and increasingly lucrative cyber tasks, Joe becomes entangled in a sophisticated AI project designed to eliminate the time gap, the latency, between prediction and reality.

As the consequences of his actions ripple across the world, he is forced to confront questions of guilt, responsibility and manipulation while navigating the darker corners of the internet.

Exploring themes of loneliness, radicalisation, surveillance, artificial intelligence and human connection, LATENCY is a timely and unsettling drama about the hidden dangers of living life through a screen.
