For centuries people turned to herbs, remedies, charms and potions to protect themselves from illness, bad luck and the unknown. Every bottle, object and old remedy has a story waiting to be discovered. Join playwright, storyteller and workshop leader Heather Taylor for an afternoon of creativity inspired by folklore, mystery and the supernatural. Using intriguing props, including mysterious potion bottles and other unusual objects, Heather will encourage you to let your imagination wander. You might write a story, create a poem, compose a song or simply use the objects as a starting point for new ideas. Feel free to bring along an instrument and use it as inspiration if you wish. Suitable for all levels of experience.
