Show-stopping cocktails and top notch comedy are a recipe for successSignature sips blended with a dash of humour from a former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist comedian is lined up as an alternative to FIFA World Cup football in the heart of Brighton.Revolution Brighton will host a Comedy & Cocktails showcase, with tickets including three comedians and two cocktails.The event, which used to go down a storm in Brighton years ago, is the brain child of Love Doctor Monti who is related to the late, great British comedian Tommy Cooper.Although the weekly Dear Love Doctor columnist in Jamaica will be playing compere instead of reverting to Cupid as this is not a specific singles event.The Monday night bonanza will feature Brighton-based Drew Cameron, who impressed in the second series of the popular TV show Britain’s Got Talent, and two other comedians.After each of the first two acts there’s a break to refresh with a cocktail.

Following the headliner, there will be a bespoke promotional drinks ‘Love Menu’ so that people can mingle.Cameron explained: “Most of my work is across the UK, so getting an opportunity to entertain an audience in my hometown will be a delight.

I’ll also try to catch the second half of the France vs Iraq World Cup tie.”
