Prateek Kohli: Likeable From the Off

Shortlisted for the Banneret award at Edinburgh fringe, this standup comedy show is about the everyday absurdities of India, the US and the UK where Prateek has lived and performed.

The absurdities get political when it’s least expected.

It talks about current politics and links it to the historical contexts and personal experiences of grief and relationships.“He took us on an informed, interesting journey around the world, using absurd logic with his endearing self-effacing humor laced with sharp insights into language and traditions from a seldom heard perspective” - Express and Star"Likeable from the off... daring in opening up of British history from another perspective, educating and entertaining, gently poking at minds to open up and consider our own ignorance at such huge swathes of Empire from Britain’s further past and America’s more recent activities.

It’s the fresh thoughts that make them ripe for the humour he mines, and what marks him out as different." - Beyond the jokePresented by Angel Comedy. This is an 18+ event
