Aladdin, a Family Pantomime

St Stephens Drama Group presents Aladdin by Dave Crump.
Get ready for a magical carpet ride of laughter, adventure and spectacle! Join our lovable hero Aladdin and his daft brother Wishee Washee as they help their outrageous mother, Widow Twankey, in her laundry in Old Peking. But when Aladdin meets the beautiful and feisty Princess Sunrise, it's love at first sight! There's just one problem - the evil Abanazar has wicked plans for world domination, and he needs Aladdin to venture into the mysterious Cave of Wonder to steal a very special lamp...
Will Aladdin escape the cave with the help of the magical Jinni? Can the Genie of the Lamp make all his dreams come true? And will bumbling policemen Hammer and Tongs catch the baddies before it's too late? Packed with dazzling costumes, hilarious slapstick, flying carpets and plenty of audience participation, this is the pantomime spectacular that promises something for all the family! This amateur production is by arrangement with NODA Limited
