I'm sorry to disappoint you all

Two friends tangled together.

Cocooned in their high rise flat and swallowed by the vastness of the city, an unravelling begins.Dynamic contemporary dance unfolds against swirling projected landscapes, set to an eclectic, layered soundscore by composer Phoebe Coco.To close the performance, you are gently invited to step beneath the projections and into the soundscape to explore the work more closely for yourself.Supported by South East Dance through the Fringe Roots programme and presented as part of Brighton Fringe.The duo met at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2017, later becoming flatmates on the 12th floor of a London high-rise.

Drawing on their frustration with the current climate for artists, and their mental health struggles, they teamed up to create I’m sorry to disappoint you all, which premiered at London’s Resolution Festival in 2023.
