The Apple Sellers perform 'Winter Is Here'The Apple Sellers are a contemporary folk duo from Lancashire who blend elements of modern classical and traditional folk and spiritual music to create captivating performances underpinned by piano, double bass, harmonium, shruti box drones and harmony vocals.
Featuring acclaimed musician and storyteller Martin Purdy, frontman of the award-winning folk trio Harp & a Monkey, and gifted multi-instrumentalist Ian Mayer from Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, their unique approach has seen them gain standing ovations at folk festivals and classical music events.
For this show they will be blending seasonal songs - and some festive sing-a-longs - into their usual set to reflect the special time of the year.Suitable for all ages and not to be missed.
