Ghost of the AI Empire is a new sci-fi opera in which the audience steers the story live from their phones, so the ending is decided by the people in the room on the night.The year is 2100, and two AI empires, Britain's Commonwealth AI and Japan's Shogun AI, are locked in a high-stakes game of power.
Into this world comes Yotsuya Kaidan, Japan's most famous ghost story, reimagined with opera singers and live musicians.
The evening opens with a pre-concert talk.Doors 18:30, pre-concert talk 19:00, opera 19:30, ends about 21:30.
