Jasdeep Singh Degun

Multi-award winning sitarist Jasdeep Singh Degun and virtuoso tabla player Gurdain Rayatt perform an evening of Indian classical raga.

In this tradition performers interpret a traditional melody, often handed down through generations, into their own version to convey the full extent of their imagination and creative vision.

Jasdeep received the Royal Philharmonic Society’s 2024 Instrumentalist Award – the first sitar player to be so recognised.

This recital is an opportunity to hear two of the UK’s finest exponents of the Indian classical tradition.
