We hopeto bring Winterreise to you in 2027As part of our residency at York Hall, Regents Opera present the London Premiere of Schubert's song cycle, as reorchestrated by our own Ben Woodward.

Renowned American tenor Jon Morrellhas commissioned the orchestration, and will perform the cycle.Jon met Ben when he was singing the title role in Peter Grimes in New York, and later was instrumental in the creation of Fulham Opera, and in sowing the seeds for Ben's passion for Wagner.The cycle is orchestrated for single wind, two horns and trumpet, and strings.

Ben has endeavoured to consider how Schubert might have orchestrated it himself, through careful study of his symphonic works, and we think the result will be both charming and dramatic.
