Blackburn Festival of Light Street Band

The Blackburn Festival of Light Street Band is a community drumming group performing a range of rhythm-led music inspired by Brazilian samba. The band is made up of members aged 16-76 and welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced musicians to join them.There are opportunities to perform at festivals and events and the sessions will help you to be performance ready should you choose to take part in these performances, although this is not compulsory. Costumes will be provided for performance events.The band meets every Thursday
Doors open at 5.30pm for booking in and chatting- session runs 6.00-7.00pm
Venue is The Bureau Centre for the Arts, Exchange Street, Blackburn, BB1 7JN.
Cafe and bar will be open. Please support The Bureau by using the cafe and don't bring in take away coffees etc from elsewhere.
