InfoFoyle Pride Festival takes place from the 19th to 29th August 2026.Foyle Prides aim, is to represent the LGBT+ community in the Derry/Londonderry area and across the North West, and campaigning in solidarity with the global LGBT+ community. This year will be our 33rd anniversary. Aims: To represent the LGBTQ+ community in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area, and to highlight the continuing abuses of LGBTQ+ people globally.Pride has always been a protest. A fight for our rights, our dignity and our lives. It is not just a celebration; it is a statement of defiance, which is why our theme this year is ‘Existence is Resistance’. The current climate for our community, especially our trans siblings, means this sentiment is more vital than ever, and it’s important that we come together in solidarity and show our unwavering support for our trans and non-binary community. Foyle Pride is, and always will be, grassroots, community-led movement that stands with all who feel marginalised, voiceless or unseen. We see you. We support you. We fight with you.Theme
