Forage and wander

Begin your foraging journey and discover the incredible abundance of wild food growing all around you. This walk is designed for complete beginners.
Come along on a Forage & Wander, and explore the incredible abundance of wild edibles, as we take a walk through Weetslade Country Park, an area of woodland, meadow and hedgerow, which sits on a former colliery site just outside of Cramlington. We'll be searching for seasonal wild edibles as we explore, connecting to the landscape through food gathered by hand, and expanding on your own knowledge and understanding of an ancient skill.
All levels of interest are welcome, and children aged 14 and under can come along for free with an adult.
