Sunday Best Parade

Step back in time and take part in a special Sunday Promenade on Scarborough’s historic South Cliff.Advance registration is essential for this unique community event, and all participants are encouraged to dress in Victorian or Edwardian-style costume to help recreate the elegance and spectacle of a traditional seaside promenade.Gather outside the Beeforth’s Hive on the Esplanade at 11am, before making your way — by whatever route you choose — through South Cliff Gardens and down to Scarborough Spa (route maps will be provided).A group photograph will be taken in the Italian Gardens at approximately 11:15am, capturing the colour and spirit of the occasion.

On arrival at the Spa, participants will be welcomed with a traditional glass of lemon barley water in the Platinum Lounge.So start planning your outfit, gather your friends and family, and register now for what promises to be one of the highlights of the Scarborough 400 calendar.
