Baroness Minette Batters - Harvest

Join the first female president of the National Farmers' Union - headquartered just down the road in Stoneleigh - as she tells the story of how she fought for British farms through some of the country's most tumultuous years.

Born and raised on a small farm, which she eventually ended up running herself, her love of farming has never waivered.

Blending memoir and manifesto, her story is a powerful insight into the real lives of farmers, a love letter to British rural life - and a rallying cry to save it.Talking to Tim Hubbard
