Summer Meet the Maker Market

Land of Oak & Iron are excited to host our Summer Meet the Maker Market, bringing together local artists and creatives for this lovely little market in the heart of the Derwent Valley.We love hosting our Meet the Maker Markets, they’re great events for buying hand crafted items, getting inspired and meeting local makers and artists!There are some great makers lined up for this summery event, including:Shore and Tide – fun and quirky seaside inspired artworks and jewellery using sea-glass, shells and seaweed.
The Lazy Bear – turning polymer clay into fun and colourful jewellery and trinkets.
Drift Glass & Ceramics – beautiful fused glass and ceramic artworks, ornaments and gift ware.
Susan Gray – local author of twentieth century historical mystery books.
Wraggerley – using recycled materials to create beautiful rag rugs, bags and other textile creations.
Knot a Clue – a Geordie crochet creating the cutest Japanese amigurumi, flowers and more.Our café will be open for breakfasts, lunch, snacks and a range of hot and cold drinks to enjoy.
