Blake Morrison may be best known for his memoirs, including And when did you last see your father? However, he started his literary career as a poet and his 2015 collection, Shingle Street, marked the beginning of his collaboration with The Hosepipe Band.

Scenes from a life features poems from Blakes new collection Afterburn, along with other extracts from his writing and offers scenes from his own life and the lives of others.

His readings are accompanied by original music composed and played by members of The Hosepipe Band.
