Reduction Linocut One day Introduction workshop

Learn to make perfectly aligned muti-layered linocut reduction prints.Reduction Linocut printmaking is the process of creating multilayered coloured prints from one lino block. This accessible one day primer course will give you the opportunity to learn about the materials and tools we use in our regular open studio sessions. Experiment with different cutting tools; try mixing and applying colour to your lino block, and by the end of the day- produce a small edition of your own reduction prints.Please bring some images or drawings for inspiration during the day recommended but not essential.
Linocut printing requires good hand/arm strength and arm mobility, please email Daniel.mccabe@swasnea.gov.uk if you want to discuss whether this class is appropriate for you, or to discuss any adjustments we can make to facilitate your participation.
