Notes From a Small Island by Bill Bryson

Adapted from Bill Bryson's bestselling travel memoir, Notes from a Small Island is a warm, affectionate and wonderfully funny exploration of Britain and the people who call it home.

Preparing to leave the country after many years, Bryson embarks on one final journey across the nation, travelling from bustling cities to sleepy seaside towns and remote rural communities.

Along the way he encounters a colourful cast of characters and discovers the charm, eccentricities and peculiar traditions that make Britain unique.

Filled with humour, nostalgia and keen observation, this delightful stage adaptation celebrates the landscapes, history and everyday quirks of a nation viewed through the eyes of one of its most perceptive and entertaining writers.
