Knight's DreamWe are delighted to invite you back to Music at St Leonards for a concert we know will be one of the highlights of our season: an evening with the mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston, accompanied by pianist Sholto Kynoch.
Described as having "one of the most exciting voices in the new generation of British singers" (Gramophone), Helen has quickly established herself as one of the most compelling recitalists of her generation, with a Gramophone Award and a BBC Music Magazine Award to her name. She is joined by Sholto Kynoch, founder and Artistic Director of the Oxford International Song Festival, whose sensitivity and artistry at the piano have made him one of the most sought-after song accompanists working today. Together they promise an evening of real intimacy and insight - the kind of music-making that first brought many of us through the doors of Music at St Leonards. The recital sponsored by Jan Telensky will include :Sechs Lieder Op. 13 - Clara Schumann
