But when a local woman disappears and secrets are revealed, survival turns to rebellion as the stories that held the community together begin to wash away. The Whaler’s Wife is a bold new play by Izzy Gray, blending sea shanties, bawdy humour and Orcadian folklore to tell a powerful story of female resilience.Performing as part of A Play, A Pie and A Pint's Autumn 2026 season.
