Procession: The Jubilee Painting Unveiled

Join us for the unveiling of Procession, a specially commissioned painting marking the Cathedrals Ruby Jubilee.Created by Teesside artist Philip Meadows , Procession reflects the story of faith, community and change across Middlesbrough and the wider Diocese.Through a series of interconnected scenes, the painting brings together past and present - capturing the journey from the old Cathedral to the new and the people and moments that have shaped it.This special evening marks the first of four events in our Jubilee month celebrations.

The programme will include a short introduction to the work, insight into the story behind its creation and the opportunity to meet the artist and purchase selected pieces.Light refreshments will be served, with music from Infant Hercules - the Teesside choir led by Mike McGrother, recently featured on BBC Ones The National Lotterys Big Night of Musical s.Tickets are free, but please register in advance so we know youre coming.
