Act V - January & February 2023 Spring Term - Individual Dates

Act V at The Headgate Theatre Mondays 10.15am to 1pm Workshops for the over 50's

Our sessions for this half-term (5 weeks) will open with a whole group session with firm favourite, Ryan Penny. We then move on to explore King Lear and work on some improvisation activities. This involves a change to the usual format, as the groups will work for two consecutive weeks on King Lear (16th/23rd January OR 30th Jan/6th Feb), and two consecutive weeks on the improvisation.

If you are interested in all things theater and have Monday mornings free? Then Act V is the way to start your week! Act V is a varied and vibrant workshop , friendly, inclusive and supportive, but most of all, great fun!

No experience is necessary, just a willingness to participate – whether in small groups or in pairs. You will be encouraged every step of the way in a friendly supportive environment, and the group is very social – both within the session and afterwards! Whether your love is Shakespeare, improvisation, modern playwrights, musicals or play-reading, we cover them all!

Each week is £9 plus booking fee – or a ‘season’ booking is available on a half termly basis.
