Ever seen improv on TV, on the internet, or on stage, and wanted to give it a go? We're holding a free taster session and we'd love to see you there. It's open to everyone, from the complete beginner onwards; those with prior experience are welcome too. We'll lead you through fun games, from skill exercises that warm your brain to your favourite formats from stage and screen. The workshop will be hosted by an experienced coach, formerly artistic director of Script for Brains (Prague). There's no need to book - just rock up on the night. What is Improvised Comedy? Improvised Comedy or 'Improv' is a type of theatre in which players devise comedic characters, dialogue and action on the spot without a pre-written script. You might have seen examples live or in TV shows like 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' As well as being great fun, practicing and performing Improv is excellent at developing skills in: acting and performance; public speaking and confidence; communication and teamwork; problem solving skills.
