A Paisley of Possibilities: Poetry workshop with Paisley Museum

Join Paisley Museum staff for a two-hour poetry writing workshop inspired by the festival’s theme - Imagine Something Different - as Camilla and Andrea from Paisley Museum introduce some writers featured in the reimagined museum and invite participants to write a collaborative poem about the future of Paisley and Renfrewshire. Camilla comes from an art background, and has worked for different art organisations across Scotland, in producing creative projects with a social focus. Andrea Pearson is the text editor for Paisley Museum, who worked as a journalist for 20 years before swapping news for history. The workshop will include activities and exercises to stimulate discussion and writing, and the poem created will contribute to the development of one of the museum’s key galleries. No previous writing experience needed, all are welcome.
