Tutor: Leila Ward This course takes place over three consecutive Saturday mornings. Please be sure to have attended Part 1 of the course before booking onto this one. In this class, students will paint various new subjects using the beautiful medium of watercolour, trying out looser styles, pen and watercolour, and painting water What to bring: · Selection of watercolour paints (either pans or tubes) · White gouache paint (small tube) · Selection of brushes (such as DalerRowney size 10 and 4 round, and at least one flat brush 1/2 inch - 1 inch) A4 Watercolour paper pad (minimum 250 gsm cold pressed/NOT paper) · Water pot (old tall plastic tubs work well for this such as soup tubs!) · Masking tape · Masking fluid (ideally frisk masking fineliner/ needle tip) · Paper towels · Mixing palette · Flat board (cardboard/ foamboard/ wooden drawing board) · Small painting sponge · Pencil, rubber · Fine tip waterproof black drawing pen
