2 Plays for Twice the Laughs!

It’s all so true, but such a farce!

Stephen Smiths ‘double act’ about becoming an extra for film work and joining an agency has left the cast in fits of laughter from the first rehearsal!

Branching Out Drama Society once again brings you a night of fun and laughter with BACKGROUND ARTISTE and ON LOCATION.

BACKGROUND ARTISTE Mary decides to try out something new in life as she has time on her hands but when she arrives at the disorganised and rather ‘disturbing’ agency she almost does a quick turnaround!

She decides to stick it out for a while and watches the goings on in the office. Two older people who tell stories, a completely useless secretary and the owner, Well! meet him for yourself!

Will she or won’t she sign on the dotted line?

ON LOCATION. A motley cast and crew are waiting in a village hall for costume and make-up to be extras on a film set, the food is a very special part of these days and Malcolm can’t get enough of it! And what about the honey wagon!

The tangled web of intrigue into relationships and how the film is getting its funding wiggles its way through the cast who keep popping out and coming back in with their special costumes on waiting to be called on set!

What could possibly happen next?
