In a long career in music spanning several decades Asha has worked as musician, producer and songwriter in a lot of different musical areas, from 90s Stock-Aitken-Waterman pop to Michael Jackson, the Drifters, RnB, hiphop, straight-ahead acoustic jazz, reggae, and many others. The songs pull in different influences from rare groove, house, disco, RnB, salsa, reggaeton, rock, funk, and classical music, all under the umbrella of jazz. The live show is primarily about improvisation and giving all the musicians - some of the finest players in London - plenty of room in which to reach to musical places they may not have imagined they could go, and to take the audience with them on an interesting and exciting musical journey that will necessarily be different every time we play. The Band features talent from Cuba and Europe to come and cross-fertilize the London musical landscape and cross some musical frontiers in a fantastic venue which is fast becoming one of London’s hottest new live music places. See you there!! About TAM Here at TAM, we are more than simply a place to watch brilliant live music.
