Now recognised as a Vibes virtuoso, he started musical life as a drummer, but turned to playing vibes in his twenties and has carved out an enviable reputation as one of the most accomplished players of this slightly unusual instrument in Europe. You may not have heard of Roger, but you will have heard his work on recordings with great jazz ensembles from the UK, Europe and USA as well as with pop, soul and rock legends like Fairground Attraction, Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant, Morrisey, Alexander O'Neil and many, many more. With Bristol based pianist Andy Nowak on piano, bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Kevin O'Rourke this has the all the musical hall-marks of a superb jazz concert.
