Whitby District Lion’s Club is very excited to announce that The Whitby Beer Festival is a back for 2022! After having to cancel the festival for the last two years due to pandemic. The charity beer festival is held in aid of Whitby & District Lion’s Club. This year the festival is celebrating its 11th year and the club intends to celebrate the growing reputation of the festival of serving over 30 of the very best artisan ales, boutique beers and scrumptious ciders from award-winning local and regional independent brewers and micro-breweries.

The festival as always is been held at the Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre, Haggersgate in Whitby which is ideally located in the centre of the town. The festival opens its doors this week from Thursday 28th July until Sunday 31st July. The opening times are from 12 Noon until 10 PM Thursday to Saturday and 12 Noon until 4 PM on Sunday. Entrance tickets cost just £5 which includes a commemorative festival tankard, which is yours to keep as a souvenir and one beer token (for one ½ pint measures). Beer tickets can then be purchased throughout the festival.
