Vibe presents Gary Beck drop the beat

Scottish legend Gary Beck comes to Aviemore in the Highlands to showcase some of his new legendery music, as well as throwing in some old classics. As a regular fixture at the world's top clubs and festivals, Glasgow born producer and DJ Gary Beck has long been established as a primary figure in techno. Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of the genre's leading labels, including institutions such as Drumcode, Cocoon and Saved as well as his own BEK Audio imprint. Since his emergence onto the scene in 2007, Beck has accumulated an impressive list of achievements. Highlights include a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, two Boiler Room session’s, featured music on BBC 1 Drama ‘Stonemouth’, as well as numerous collaborations with exceptional talents such as MR. G, Green Velvet, Debra Debs, Mark Broom and Speedy J. 2012 saw the release of his seminal debut album 'Bring a Friend' on the legendary Soma Records label, and with a his second L.P ‘Dál Riata’ set to drop in November, it’s an exciting time in Gary’s production career. In terms of performing, Gary has appeared at some of the worlds largest and respected clubs and festivals, with shows at renowned venues such as Womb Tokyo, Fabric London, Awakenings, T in the Park scotland, Spazio Rome, Output NYC, and Timewarp, to name a few.
