Celebrating their 25th Anniversary, Leeds Baroque Choir & Orchestra, directed by Peter Holman present two great mass settings; the probably familiar , Joseph Haydn's Nelson Mass (1798) - Missa in angustiis (Mass for troubled times) and, perhaps less well known, Francisco Valls' Missa Scala Aretina (1702) with Vivaldi’s concerto in C minor for violin and organ. Soloists Philippa Hyde (soprano) Asuka Sumi (violin) and Callum Anderson (Organ) Pre-concert talk by Prof. Peter Holman at 2:00pm - ​admission FREE to ticket holders.
