Important update
Dear Sodbury Players Supporter,
It is with much sadness and disappointment that Sodbury Players must announce our decision to postpone our planned production of 'Treasure Island', our family pantomime adventure, originally scheduled for January 2022, at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall.
Due to the current uncertainty and high risk of transmission of the Omicron variant of Covid, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the production, as the health and safety of our audience, cast and backstage crew is of the utmost importance.
This decision has not been taken lightly, and we must stress that this is not a cancellation; the production is being postponed for now, with rescheduled dates to be confirmed very soon.
Please do not contact the box office at this stage once updated performance dates have been announced, we look forward to offering those that have booked the opportunity to transfer their tickets to an appropriate future date, although refunds will be available.
A tremendous amount of effort has gone in from the cast and crew since we began the rehearsal process in October and we look forward to sharing the final product with our loyal audience, We look forward to seeing you all back in the theatre soon.
