We're thrilled to be announcing our next night - on Friday 19 November - featuring the best in progressive house, trance and melodic techno, with: Greig Skivington as Teknaut (Haz, Lost in Sound, Yomo Records) George (Transmission) Nixiro (Transmission). Transmission is a new night focused on delivering electronic grooves with lush, beautiful melodies and hypnotic driving bass lines. From the hearts of three Cambridge based DJs with over 35 years of Djing experience between them, we aim to bring you music from the very best producers all over the world, to get lost and smile to on the dancefloor. Introducing our DJs: Teknaut is the musical alias of Greig Skivington who has released on Yomo Records and played at Haz, Synthetika and Lost in Sound sessions in the past. His love of lush melodies and intricate building soundscapes with see him playing tracks from the likes of Alex O’Rion, Kasper Koman and Khen just to name a few. Check out his mixcloud page: George has been spinning tunes off and on since the late 90’s, starting out playing trance and Nu NRG before starting to move towards more disco oriented house music. During this time, she played extensively across London’s underground venues, including the Fridge, 414, the Soundshaft, the Stratford Rex, Cloud 9, George IV and the main floor at Heaven amongst others. In recent times she has been enjoying a range of music, anything from heavier techno to the deeper and melodic side of techno and more uplifting, warm, house-oriented sounds. Calling on his experience as a keyboard player and lead guitarist and inspired by artists such as Symbolic, Outsiders and E-Clip, he has released on labels such as Geomagnetic, Sting Records and Goa Records.
