Attending an event/gathering in Ardsand North Down?
It is strongly recommended that anyone participatingin, or attending, any event which will bring them into close proximity withother people from outside their existing bubble should test themselves before they attend, and on days 2 and 8 afterthe event.
The purpose of this testing is to identifyany positive cases in advance of the event and allow these people toself-isolate. Post event testing will also help to identify anyasymptomatic COVID-19 infections arising from the event, or social interactionsthat may occur before or after an organised event.
Although testing is not mandatory, it isstrongly recommended that anyone attending an event should test themselves nomore than 24 hours in advance of attending an event, and on days 2 and 8following the event.
The use of Lateral Flow Device(LFD) testing is important as an additional measure alongside therange of existing safety measures in place at our organised events.

You can also order them for collection in a number oflocations across NI.
If anyone has symptoms of COVID-19, theyshould self-isolate and book a PCR test immediately. PCR tests are availableat testing sites across Northern Ireland and can be booked at: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test. They must not attend events unless theyreceive a negative PCR test.
