Tons Of Money is a comedy written by Will Evans and Arthur Valentine and revised by Alan Ayckbourn and is about an unsuccessful inventor, Aubrey H Maitland Allington, who stands to inherit the life interest in a fortune which is to revert, on his death, to his cousin George Maitland. As cousin George is thought to have died abroad, Aubrey has the brilliant idea of faking his own death so he can resurrect himself as his cousin and avoid having to pay his enormous debts.
