Joining in with TAMFEST 2022 celebrations this is a special show brought to the main stage for a unique evening at the Gaiety Theatre. Tam O’ Shanter & Other Tales is a comic celebration of the ‘Gothic’ poems of Robert Burns. You’ll be seeing Stolen Elephant Theatre perform ‘Tam O’ Shanter’, ‘Death and Dr Hornbook’ and ‘Address to the Deil’ - and expect to encounter Witches and Death, and the De’il himself! Come join Stolen Elephant Theatre for an evening of the supernatural - they’ll be telling comic versions of the Scottish folk tales ‘The Witch of Fife’ and ‘The Haunted Ships’, and Douglas McQueen Hunter and Douglas Caird will be performing Burns' songs. Expect to laugh and hoot, and for the odd shiver to go a running down your spine!

Stolen Elephant Theatre was founded by Andy Dickinson, who is a writer, producer, and performer. His published play ‘Shackleton and his Stowaway’ was a Sold-Out show at Ed Fringe 2018. Andy will be joined on stage by Nicola Jo Cully - who's recent credits include Outlander, Doctors, Waterloo Road and River city, by the multiple Award-Winning, Shian Denovan - an actress who has worked across film, TV and theatre and musicians Douglas McQueen Hunter and Douglas Caird - from ‘The Picts’ and ‘The Court of Equity’.
