Details

A Songwriter's Circle is long standing tradition for musicians, in which songwriters perform their own songs, discuss their art and the process behind the music, and collaborate with each other. For one night only, three of Wiltshire's best young acts will share the stage to do just that. Featuring Becky Lawrence (finalist for Artist of the Year at the UK Country Music Awards), Emma Webb (inspirational indie-pop from leader of Trowbridge Rock Choir) and The Odd Project (indie-rap collaboration between Cheribaby and JXE). Expect a conversational night of personal stories and sensational songs in the intimate environment of Trowbridge Town Hall.

The Odd Project are a Bristol/London based group making music infused with alt-pop, alt-rock and rap elements. With influences spanning all the way from Etta James to Linkin Park, JXE and Cheribaby clash creatively in just the right way to produce tunes that will have you thinking just as much as you're bobbing your head to them.

Becky Lawrence is a singer/songwriter, descended from the shores of the Isle of Man now residing in Wiltshire. Becky's background in musical theatre saw her being cast as 'Kim' in the European Premiere of Miss Saigon on the Isle of Man and eventually heading off to train in London at the London School of Musical Theatre. Whilst there, Becky was drawn to country music due to the wonderful storytelling from great artists such as Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire who are her biggest influences.

Emma Webb is an indie, folk, pop singer/songwriter living in Bristol, UK. Known for her distinctive style of acoustic pop, Webb has been influenced by an array of music and genres, and is particularly passionate about 90s artists such as Alanis Morissette, The Corrs, The Beautiful South and Natalie Imbruglia, whilst also being lyrically influenced by songwriters such as Paul Simon, Carole King and Joni Mitchell.
