His ingenious imagery adorns records by Buzzcocks, Simple Minds and Duran Duran; he pioneered digital design in the 1990s and worked with Oasis, Orbital and Iron Maiden; he's a founder of the Design Manchester festival and created cinematics for Prof Brian Cox's Horizons - A 21st Century Space Oddyssey tour; and on tonight, Malcolm Garrett MBE RDI will be talking to Alison Beale how he's still working to create fresh, relevant and purposeful design for today's musicians and organisations, and questions whether record sleeves can be classified as Art.
