As part of Perthshire Seed Library’s programme of events, join us for a talk on the Seeds of Shakespeare: the poetry of fruits, herbs, wild and garden plants by Seona Anderson!

Shakespeare’s works are full of fruits, herbs, spices, and wild and garden flowers. They give us glimpses into Tudor kitchens, gardens, feasts, celebrations, and ceremonies. We still grow and eat many of these same species today, and like the gardeners and cooks of the past, we can find inspiration by sharing our knowledge of plants and the seeds we collect and share.
