Nayla Yenquis Group

Nayla Yenquis Group is a quartet playing Brazilian Jazz, also known as MPB. MPB is a rich, poetic style that incorporates the sounds of both the Samba and Bossa Nova mixed with elements of jazz which has also contributed to the sound. The quartet will be performing an enticing amalgamation of contemporary jazz and Brazilian song presenting some of the major composers of this style. Featuring Nayla Yenquis (vocals), Pierre Bauzerand (piano), Cesar Capote (bass), Tim Alcorn (drums).
