Manchester based trumpeter, composer, arranger and band-leader Matthew Halsall is one of the rising stars of European Jazz. With a label showcasing exciting young talent such as Mercury Music Prize nominees GoGo Penguin, Halsall has already made quite an impact, not just with his performance, but also his discovery and knowledge of new music.
