Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of piano music and perform if you like!
All welcome to our first event of 2022! It's a great time to join if you're thinking of taking up the piano or getting back to it after years away. Let's Play The Piano Cambridge have been meeting monthly since early 2015. Our regular sessions are a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow music lovers whether you play the piano or not. You're welcome to attend just to listen if you like - having an audience for our performers is a great bonus! We typically get 30-35 attendees at each session.
There's always an interesting mix of music each time. Adult players of all levels and musical styles are welcome to perform. There'll also be half and hour prior to the 2.30pm start and during the interval for people who'd like to play without worrying about an audience!
Maybe you're thinking of learning the piano and would like to find out more. The group is friendly and appeals to all ages and backgrounds. It's a lot of fun!
If you would like to perform, just let us know when you arrive on the day or message the organiser Ben in advance and we'll be sure to fit you in the programme.
We meet in the recital room of West Road Concert hall and get to play one of their fabulous Steinway Model D pianos. It's a great experience if you're used to only playing a digital piano!
