Details

Len Blake is an emerging kiwi artist based in London. She is a talented songwriter who builds emotional worlds in her music, with a commitment to honest and relatable lyricism. Len treads the lines between genres, merging pop, indie and RnB with soulful vocals. She quickly made waves in the Aotearoa music scene after she independently released her debut EP ‘Honey Blood’ in 2021. Following a slew of New Zealand festival summer shows, she travelled over to the UK as an independent artist, to immerse herself in the sounds that have inspired her music since the beginning. She hit the ground running and has since worked with a range of UK producers, including Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse, Corinne Bailey Rae), Jordan Rakei, Charlie J Perry (Jorja Smith), John Foyle (Sampha, FKA Twigs), Matt Wills (Charlotte Plank) and Maths Time Joy (Pip Millet, Mahalia). Len released “Te Piringa” in 2023, which hit the New Zealand charts, and “Like That”, her debut UK release. Len’s first release of 2024 was released in June, with “Lost in Comfort”, co-written and produced by Jordan Rakei and funded by New Zealand on Air. Len’s great love is connecting with a live audience, and she has played multiple festival shows around NZ and supported Jordan Rakei, Will Swinton, Alba Rose and Will McClean, as well as putting on her own headline shows. Len and her sister work closely together in a creative partnership - building her sonic and visual world.
