In a crap nightclub in the crap town a crap man sings crap songs whilst promising everyone everything is going to be alright. However, as the world starts falling down around him people soon discover the cause of this catastrophe. Karaokay is a funny odd thrill ride through an inaccurate history of one of the greatest-worst forms of entertainment ever imagined. It’s also a bit of a look at; addiction, inspo-quote culture and mental health, asking us to think about if it’s really okay to not be okay. Optional audience interactivity for people who might want to take turns singing popular songs into a microphone over pre-recorded backing tracks.
