Details

Born and raised in South London, UK, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has gradually grown in notoriety. Whilst studying marketing at university, Jake began to make a living as a part-time session musician, playing drums and bass on various jazz and rock and roll records, and eventually began to venture into songwriting. He eventually played The Other Stage at the world-famous Glastonbury Music Festival, and with support from the BBC, Jake was picked up and signed by Elton John.

Jake has independently released six EPs and a debut album, self-producing and playing all the instruments across these projects with streaming numbers that total over 60 million. He has supported and worked with a number of notable artists including Elton John, Angus and Julia Stone, Cynthia Erivo, Duffy, Paloma Faith, Joan As Policewoman, Gabriella and Shuggie Otis.

Jake’s distinctive style of feisty soul pop with anthemic hooks has earned him a name, selling out shows across the UK, USA, Germany, the Netherlands and the rest of Europe.
