HOME Young Company presents The Lost World

“Let us introduce you to Jessica, your typical run of the mill "rich kid" who doesn't realise the world outside her window is dying. But what happens when she's transported thirty years into the future, where she sees the consequences of climate crisis for herself? Join Jessica as she embarks upon a journey to discover what has happened to our Lost World. Will she try to help, or will she fail her world a second time....?" HOME’s Young Company are taking to the stage once again this summer, following on from their success with last year’s interactive play ‘4 Us to Rule’. This year, HOME's Young Company will be bringing you another brand-new play, written, and developed by fantastic young playwrights from Greater Manchester. In May this year, we called out for young Greater Manchester playwrights to step forward and work alongside our Creative Team, as part of a pilot group, ‘HOME Young Writers’. The young playwrights were tasked with a brief of creating a new 40-minute play, responding to themes of Climate Change.
